Apart from the mispronunciation of “zounds,” I can attest that Dean Elliott’s Zounds, What Sounds! is a novelty masterpiece. It was one of my favorite childhood records and I still perk up when it pops up on iTunes today.

Too bad they’re trying to rhyme “zounds” and “sounds.” Not even close.

God’s wounds indeed. This may have left his ears bleeding.
